Trockite Molecular Sieves are specially manufactured 3 Ångström zeolite spheres, with a diameter range of 2.0–3.5 mm, optimized for drying polar solvents and removing trace moisture from sensitive reagents. These sieves are particularly well-suited for oligonucleotide synthesis, where moisture must be strictly controlled to ensure consistent reaction efficiency.
The 3 Å pore size selectively excludes molecules larger than water (e.g., alcohols), making them ideal for removing only water while leaving solvents like acetonitrile or THF unaffected.
