The PuroSPIN-96™ Genomic DNA Purification Kit is designed to purify genomic DNA from different biological samples such as bacteria, yeast, mammalian cells, blood, and animal tissue using 96-well silica membrane purification plates. The genomic DNA is released from the cells or tissue using Lysis Buffer LB-GD1, Lysis Buffer LB-GD2, and Proteinase K. The DNA is then loaded onto silica-based purification plates and washed to remove protein, salt, and other contaminants. Finally, the purified DNA is eluted from the column into a clean 96-well elution plate in Elution Buffer EB, or nuclease-free water.
