The PuroMag™ Endo-Free Plasmid MAXIprep Kit is an innovative solution for the large-scale extraction and purification of endotoxin-free plasmid DNA from cultured bacterial cells. The purification method is based on the binding of plasmids to silica-coated magnetic beads, which ensures efficient removal of contaminants such as genomic DNA, proteins, and salts.

A key feature of this kit is the inclusion of an Endotoxin Removal Buffer (ERB) during the lysis steps, which specifically targets and removes endotoxins. The highly purified plasmid DNA produced by this kit contains extremely low endotoxin levels, less than 0.1 EU/µg. The buffer formulations are optimized to ensure efficient removal of RNA from your plasmid samples.

This kit purifies plasmid DNA from up to 300 mL of overnight bacterial culture, yielding up to 500 µg of plasmid DNA. The protocol is exceptionally fast, taking less than 60 minutes, which is significantly quicker than traditional ion-exchange column formats.
