Citrate Gold Nanoparticles (AuNPs)

Citrate Gold Nanoparticles are capped with citrate ions, which confer colloidal stability and a weakly bound surface layer. This allows for electrostatic adsorption of biomolecules and facilitates downstream functionalization.

Applications:

  • Adsorption-based conjugation of proteins, DNA, or peptides
  • Fabrication of biosensors and diagnostic devices
  • Nanomaterial research and nanoparticle modification studies

The particles are optically tunable, size-controlled, and suitable for a wide range of laboratory applications.
