DNase I RNase Free @10 mg/mL
High-performance recombinant DNase I RNAse Free (10 mg/mL, ≥2,000 U/mg, Kunitz) for DNA removal in RNA workflows, free of RNase contamination and supplied with 10x Reaction Buffer.
DNase I (10 mg/mL, ≥2,000 U Kunitz/mg) from Canvax is a recombinant bovine pancreatic endonuclease expressed in E. coli, designed to deliver high-quality and reproducible performance in molecular biology workflows.
This enzyme cleaves DNA preferentially at phosphodiester bonds adjacent to pyrimidine nucleotides, generating oligonucleotide products (mainly tetranucleotides) with 5’-phosphorylated and 3’-hydroxylated ends. It acts efficiently on single-stranded DNA, double-stranded DNA, RNA-DNA hybrids and chromatin.
For optimal performance, DNase I requires the presence of Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺ ions. Each lot is stringently tested to ensure high purity, absence of RNase contamination, and consistent activity, making it an ideal choice for in vitro transcription and RNA preparation protocols.
