Ahram RX1 Portable Centrifuge
The Ahram RX1 is a lightweight, battery-powered portable centrifuge, designed specifically for mobile and field-based applications. Weighing just 1.3 kg, it enables effective centrifugation of biological samples where access to standard laboratory power sources is unavailable or limited.
It comes with an angle rotor, which can load up to twelve 1.5mL tubes and reaches maximum speed of 8,500 rpm and accordingly 4,680 rcf. Ahram™ RX1 is powered by a rechargeable Li polymer battery which allows 2 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. It can also be operated with DC power using an AC/DC adaptor.
